How do I get started with Valido?

Simply sign up for a free account, get your API key from the dashboard, and start validating emails. You get 100 free validations per month.

What's included in the free plan?

The free plan includes 100 email validations per month, basic validation features, API access, and email support.

How accurate is the email validation?

Our AI-powered validation engine achieves 99.9% accuracy by combining multiple validation techniques including syntax checking, domain verification, and risk analysis.

API Integration
How do I authenticate API requests?

Include your API key in the Authorization header: 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY'. You can find your API key in the dashboard.

What's the API rate limit?

Free plans have a rate limit of 10 requests per minute. Pro plans allow 100 requests per minute, and Enterprise plans have no rate limits.

Can I validate emails in bulk?

Yes! Pro and Enterprise plans support bulk validation. You can validate up to 1000 emails in a single API request.

Billing & Plans
How does billing work?

We charge monthly based on your plan. Credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused credits don't roll over.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can change your plan anytime from the dashboard. Changes take effect immediately, and billing is prorated.

What happens if I exceed my credit limit?

API requests will return a 402 error when you exceed your credit limit. You can upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle.

What data does the API return?

The API returns validation status, risk score, and detailed analysis including syntax validation, domain checks, disposable email detection, and more.

How do I interpret the risk score?

Risk scores range from 0-100. Lower scores indicate safer emails: 0-30 (Low Risk), 31-70 (Medium Risk), 71-100 (High Risk).

Do you store the emails I validate?

We temporarily store validated emails for 30 days to improve our service. You can request deletion anytime by contacting support.
